Where to Eat... |
|
Breakfast |
From the Daytona Beach International Airport, we checked in at the Hilton Garden Inn and had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Great American Grill. |
Lunch |
We had lunch at Caribbean Jack's, which is right on the water. They have everything from soup and salad to sandwiches, plus a variety of full course meals like steak and seafood. I had the macadamia grouper and I swear it was the best fish dish I have ever eaten in my life. Try to eat outside if you can. |
Dinner |
Dinner at the Chart House is superb. The Chart House mixed grill is delicious - an assortment of different seafood with seasonal vegetables and rice pilaf. |
What to Do... |
|
Morning |
We spend the morning enjoying the hotel facilities and just preparing for our long trip later in the afternoon. |
Afternoon |
We drove all the way from our hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn, to the Inlet Harbor Road to take the Manatee Scenic Boat Tour. The view of Daytona Beach from the sea was amazing. I especially enjoyed looking at the waterfront estates. We also got to see dolphins, manatees, egrets and pelicans during the tour. |
Evening |
After the Manatee Boat Tour, we visited the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse and checked out the shipwreck memorabilia on display. Afterward, we headed to Chart House for dinner and drinks. |
Late Night |
After dinner at Chart House, we stayed for dancing and cocktails. We had a ball!! |
